Obama and our kick ass military got Osama!! Osama bin Laden is dead, and it was a Democrat who got it done. Who's weak on terror now, Republicans??? Bush couldn't do it while gallivanting off in the sands of Iraq but it was the first African-American president in the country's history to take down the baddest badman in the first half of the 21st century. So, do you still wanna talk about his birth certificate, asshole??? We not only killed his ass but also have custody of his body for DNA tests.It's gonna suck for a Republican presidential candidate in 2012 to try and frame Obama as a president weak on terrorism. Think about it, Obama has used more drone attacks than Bush, and in the end, Obama got the job done. This will have a massive, psychological blow to the Taliban and al-Qaeda fighters. I'm sure it's given our brave men and women a huge sense of victory and accomplishment. So, let's declare victory in Afghanistan and BRING THEM HOME!!!

@Dan...I know very well that it wasn't a drone attack. I mentioned the drone attacks as evidence to how Obama has stepped up the pressure on al-Qaeda after Bush left office. Bush took his eye of the ball with Iraq.
I may be a protester of the Afghan war but I still think we should have gone after Osama bin Laden. If you've been reading this blog very long, I write how we should pull out of Afghanistan and use special ops groups to take out the al-Qaeda leaders.
Of course it was the special ops guys who did the job. As for promising me that every member of that team was Republican, trust me, you can't prove it. There are plenty of Democrats and Liberals in the military. You know it and so do I.
P.S. - Liberals see a difference between a war and using special forces to take out strategic targets.
P.P.S. - If this happened under a Republican's watch, you guys would be celebrating it and rubbing it the Dem's faces. So, don't act all surprised.

Mission not accomplished, still plenty of bad guys that need killing. This is a war that will never end, it has been raging for decades and America let it go as long as it could but 9/11 was a game changer. My son is preparing to serve, and hopefully yours will do the same. We lost a family member last year to a suicide bomber and are prepared to loose more if that is what it takes to weed them out and put a bullet in their frontal lobes. If your kids are too precious to send into the fray don't worry about it, because kids like mine will do the job for them. Acta Non Verba!!
