I would rather someone be wrapped in the Constitution burning the flag than wrapped in the flag burning the Constitution. In other words, as Patrick Henry famously said, "Give me liberty or give me death."

VIDEO: Oil Gushing into Gulf of Mexico.
TPJ: This is the video of the oil not spilling but gushing into the Gulf of Oil, er. I mean Mexico. This is what we're up against. Using the word spill makes it sound likes like, "Oops, I spilled some milk." No, this is a major gusher.
I know we're not supposed to anthropomorphize (sp?) Grandmother Earth--but this reminds me of an artery gushing blood. To me, Grandmother is bleeding. And it's our fault. When are we going to stop taking and taking?
I agree with your analogy and it's very true. I don't know how much more she can take--nor myself!! I don't know what can be done at this point short of a revolution.
