I would rather someone be wrapped in the Constitution burning the flag than wrapped in the flag burning the Constitution. In other words, as Patrick Henry famously said, "Give me liberty or give me death."

Dick Cheney Endores John McCain.
This is the same Dick Cheney who said that deficits don't matter and now our deficit is at a record number. This is the same Dick Cheney who just like John McCain pushed for the treasury breaking and internationally damaging and misleading war in Iraq. This is the same Dick Cheney who along with McCain support continuing tax cuts for the rich, which hasn't shown to help our economy during the past 8 years. It has in fact instead ballooned our national deficit. This is the same Dick Cheney who has been rabidly anti-regulation just like John McCain, which is an irresponsible attitude that helped precipitate this recent economic collapse of the banking industries.
This is the same Dick Cheney who allowed the oil companies to basically write the energy bill and allowed them to continue to receive huge tax breaks despite making record profits every year. John McCain wants to like Cheney keep those tax breaks in place. He like Cheney thinks that we can drill our way out of our oil addiction. There isn't enough oil in America to keep our energy needs fulfilled on any long term basis. This is the same Dick Cheney who worked to expand the powers of the Vice-President, which is something that McCain's V.P. choice Sarah Palin showed that she wanted to continue in the debate and in interviews.
DO NOT PASS GO, DO NOT COLLECT $200, Colorado is going blue. What was supposed to be a nailbiter simply hasn't materialized into a very tough fight from the McCain campaign, and the Obama ground game in Colorado is an elite, overwhelming force. When all is said and done, stunningly beautiful Colorado will have two Democratic Senators, a Democratic governor, four or five out of seven House seats held by Dems, and will have given its nine electoral votes to the lanky Senator from Illinois. Chuck Todd made an outstanding point about Colorado and the Republican party's woes

We are all so very proud of Colorado!

Yeah I'm pretty convinced that Colorado will go blue too. I get that feeling from all the cars around town with Obama stickers and all the yard signs. Not to mention of course the polls.
Also, I keep hearing from Republicans who are going to vote for Obama here.

What a poor strategist. If Dick wanted to sink Obama he should have endorsed him instead.
