John McCain Forgets Iraq Invasion with Georgia Comments. Plus Bush-McCain Economics Ad.

Speaking to reporters about the situation in Georgia, Sen. John McCain denounced the aggressive posture of Russia by claiming that:"in the 21st century nations don't invade other nations."

TPJ: Hey Grandpa McCain!! You, Bush, Cheney and their lackies kicked off the 21st century by invading a sovereign nation, remember Iraq? The inconvenient truth? And not only did we invade but we've occupied that nation for going on 6 years!!! This blunder happened in the same speech where he mispronounced the Georgian president's last name (for the fourth time) despite claiming to have a close and long time relationship with the man. These blunders all add up and make him look clueless on foreign policy despite his bravado and bellicose behavior just like George W. Bush. He saber rattles and talks tough yet he can't figure out the basics like peoples' names, country names, the difference between Shia, Sunni, al-Qaed and Iran. He just represents more Bush, "Cowboy Diplomacy."

I got the sense watching McCain that he was trying to act like the president with this Georgia situation, acting like he was the one in charge to make decisions. Especially with the American flag in the background and you hear the right-wing sound machine saying how presidential it makes him look. Which is what he has to do to try and win. Yet when Obama looked presidential on his trip abroad they said he was arrogant and presumptuous--the double standards are maddening. Barack has to be on his game 10 times that of McCain and even then he still gets held to a different standard but what is more maddening is that the MSM doesn't cover the double standards and the McCain flubs. No wonder the media types hate the blogs, we keep them honest and in-check. They don't like anyone giving news and opinion besides themselves.

Plus, check out this hard hitting ad by Obama on McCain's economic plan:
