Clinton vs. Obama on Race.

Ugh, I don't want to wade into the waters of this ugly debate between Hillary/Bill and Obama except to say, "PUT A LID ON IT!!!" I appeal to supporters of both sides to stop fueling this nonsense and get back to the issues at hand. If we want to discuss race issues that is fine and long overdue but let's not attack each other on who is more an advocate for the African-American community. I think it is safe to say that both candidates who due much more for minorities in the country than the Republicans.

I dislike Hillary Clinton very much and readers to this blog know this but I would never accuse her and Bill of being racist. And to say that Obama isn't "black enough" and not able to deliver on minority issues is equally as absurd. Can we please just stick to the issues? This is getting childish.

Here's a thought, let's turn our guns on the Republicans.

Enough is enough.

Speaking of Republicans, have you heard what Romney is talking about in Michigan to try and win that primary? That he was born there. Seriously. That and Romney bragging that his dad was governor. So what? What does that have to do with you're qualifications to be president?

Ugh--exactly! I personally believe that the media has blown this all out of proportion and are turning a non-story into news. I think both the Clinton and Obama campaigns made missteps but I don't buy there is even any "race" issue to discuss. The media is bored and are searching for any "news" that they can feast on.

All of this is meaningless Kabuki theater. The corporate media promote the corporate candidates and that is who we will end up with, just like in 2000 and 2004.
This "democracy" is a sham. We live in a rapidly closing society and in just a few years people will realize they live in a fascist nation.
Then wonder how they got there.

Couldn't agree more. The media has whipped this thing up into a tempest in a teapot.

It is a sham. We are forced to go along with the powers that be. Some democracy indeed.
