Hillary Clinton's Planted Questions Controversy

UPDATE TO MY PREVIOUS POST: My Case for Why Senator Hillary Clinton Shouldn't be the Democratic Party Nominee.

Now there is controversy over Hillary Clinton's campaign planting questions at campaign events. One specific planted question was "asked" in Newton, Iowa by a student who in the MSNBC video I saw on Hardball tonight winked after asking the question. Here is the only video I could find on the matter, unfortunately from FOX News (yuck):

And apparently this isn't the first time:

This is just like Bush who is all about planted questions to try and make himself look favorable, why do we want a lighter version of Bush as the Democratic nominee in Hillary Clinton?? Senator Barack Obama for what it's worth has come out after this and said his campaign never relies on planted questions.

People of Iowa, New Hampshire and everywhere, I plead with you to not support Senator Clinton. She is clearly not who she says she is and her campaign shroud is finally being pulled back to reveal the true Hillary.

P.S.~I have finally updated comments to previous posts.

Hillary supporters: please don’t get discouraged. PLEASE. She is getting attacked from all sides because people deep down know she is our only hope for America and they’re trying to ruin it for everybody. Hillary is the ONLY candidate with these 4 attributes: honor, patriotism, loyalty, and kindness. I got $35 in the bank that says no other candidate has those attributes.

Hillary supporters: Figure out what your candidate stands for. She has decided that Rovian politics are good if they work for her. She doesn't care about following the law. She cares about power, pure and simple. Why isn't she standing up everyday and bashing George W. Bush for breaking international law, shredding our constitution and basically saying that impeachment is necessary? Because she wants power, not what is right. Look into what she says she believe and her actions. Then decide if you want to stand behind her.

If Hillary is our only hope then we really are doomed. She is a charlatan at best and a con artist at worse.

She doesn't represent anyone except the party inner cadre and herself.

I'm ready to move forward and step into a new generation for America and Hillary is preventing us from making that cleansing rebirth.

Brent:

ABSOLUTELY. I only hope enough people realize that before the primaries. It's all an act with her and she sees the process as a "necessary evil" on her way to ultimate power. She's "Cheney in a pant suit as someone told me."

It's time to take our country back and move forward into a new, exiting chapter for our nation.

VFH: Are honestly suggesting that none of the other democratic candidates have the 4 attributes that you so highly praise? It's highly doubtful that Mrs. Clinton has all four herself!

Let me add one more, Integrity. Planting a question in the press is far from showing integrity. Bush already used that one with Jeff Gannon. Is Hilary getting her integrity lessons from W? If so, we truly are screwed if she's the answer...

Is refusing to admit she made a mistake in voting for the Iraq war honorable? Not in my book!
At least John Edwards admits he made a mistake in giving Bush the go ahead. In my opinion, that is honor. Even if he's not my preferred candidate, I respect him for admitting his mistake.

I won't question her patriotism, nor should you do the same of any other Democrat running.

But her loyalty? That is another thing entirely.
Her loyalty is to the DLC and her own ambitions nothing more.

I don't have any examples of unkind acts so I'll leave that be.

Oh and by the way, you can keep your 35 bucks. :)

I too would love a woman president. But not Hillary.

If Hillary is our hope, we are in worse shape than I had previously thought.

Hillary voted in favor of this illegal war with Iraq in Oct. 2002.
According to Project Vote Smart, she voted to pass an amendment that appropriates $3.00 billion for US-Mexico border security "enhancement" that will be used to (among other things)fund security measures along the U.S. and Mexican border that include building a fence, establishing vehicle barriers, utilizing unmanned aerial vehicles, placing ground-based sensors and cameras, and removing and detaining undocumented immigrants. The fence is a big problem, in terms of human rights, and is a colossal waste of money.

She also voted in favor of an amendment to To make $300,000,000 available for grants to States to carry out the REAL ID Act of 2005. Mmmmm, Real ID.... soon we will all have papers to present on demand-- Thanks Hillary!

The whole planting questions thing reminds me too much of a Simpsons episode, in which Burns is running for office. As part of his campaign, there is a planned photo- op dinner at the Simpsons' house.

Burns advisor gives Lisa a cue card with a question on it for her to memorize and ask "Uncle Monty" at dinner the next night.

[excerpt from Simpsons]
LISA
(reading) Mr. Burns: your campaign seems to have the momentum of a runaway freight train. Why are you so popular?

ADVISOR
Very good.

LISA
Mmm... well, as long as I'm asking something, can I ask him to assuage my fears that he's contaminating the planet in a manner that may one day render it uninhabitable?

ADVISOR
No, dear. The card question'll be fine.

Once again, life imitates cartoons.

We deserve better than this. Hillary is not a viable choice if you care deeply for peace and justice.

I haven't came across one I would actually vote for. I think they are all in it for the power.

Actually we'll all have RFID chips in those cards, and not long after that they'll be implanted in our bodies. That way if you step out of line, they can shut down your ability to survive within society.
It's all a part of the big plan by those who are really in power. The Council on Foreign Relations who actually control our government, the one Hillary's husband is a member of.
