"It looks as though it will take two years for us to have adequate earning power again, so we are looking for people (GOI: suckers) who will help us monthly for two years." -Rev. Ted Haggard who left his megachurch in the midst of a sex scandal, asking supporters for cash so that he and his wife can pursue college degrees.
GOI: Why doesn't he just pay for it by giving blow jobs for cash? Oh, wait. I forgot. He "successfully" went through "gay rehab." So I guess all I have to do to get my student loans paid off is become an blow job giving, meth using, evangelical Christian reverend. I'm all for forgiveness but I wouldn't give a dime to this clown. It seems that so much of Evangelical Christianity is about bilking people out of their money.
Haggard is seeking a master's in counseling while his wife is studying psychology. Psychology? Isn't that science? I thought Evangelicals saw science as the heathen's religion? And what's with his wife stepping outside of the kitchen? Shouldn't she be pregnant by now with Haggard's, "I'm proving that I'm not gay by having heterosexual sex" child??
So counseling, eh? Is he going to "counsel" people about being gay? Paster Ted once called himself a "great man." Oh how hard the mighty fall. Hey Ted. How about taking out loans to pay for school like everyone else? Oh damn my memory lapses!! I forgot, you're a "great man!!" Not like the rest of us suckers and peons, eh?
