Bush Winks at The Queen of England

bush-wink
I didn't have a problem with the 1776 gaff with Bush yesterday when we misspoke about the Queen. If you are not aware of the gaff--here is what he said:

You helped our nation celebrate its bicentennial in 17-1976.

However, the problem for me came when he stopped to wink at the Queen of England!! You don't wink at the Queen of England. Even I wouldn't do that and I'm a separatist Scottish-American!!!!

The man has no class. He learned his etiquette from the, "Larry the Cable Guy School of Etiquette." First he gropes the German Chancellor and now he's winking at a Queen?!! He has all the class of Cletus the Hillbilly from the classic comedy cartoon show, "The Simpsons."

He should have just keep going after the date muddle but he had to make a point of stopping and making the gaff a bigger deal then it was by winking at her.

However, then again he has quite the history of making bad situations worse. Ahem, *Iraq* ahem. Sorry had to clear my throat there.

He was probably using his best material at the white tie dinner at the White House with the Queen such as his classic repertoire of fart jokes. I wouldn't put it past him to ask her, "Hey Queenie. Pull my finger."

What is with this guy? He's not the Decider in Chief, he's the Sexual Harrasser -N- Chief.

He did....and the Queen was not amused.

You are so right. We have Larry the Cable Guy in the Oval Office.

Yeah I guess frigid Laura isn't putting out or something.

Liberal:

I bet. That kind of act is so not protocol. He's a utterly and totally uncouth.

Lynne:

Yeah I thought it was an apropos comparison. Kind of sadly ironic that Larry the Cable Guy has a new movie coming out. He plays some dumb soldier who thinks they're in Iraq when they've screwed up and invaded Mexico. Sounds a little too similar to Bush.

Ah, but the look...THE WITHERING LOOK she gave him! :-)

Yeah that look from the Queen was priceless. I would have loved to see her pimp slap him after that wink. :)
