Nationally syndicated radio host Rush Limbaugh equated the actions of Cindy Sheehan, the mother of a soldier killed in Iraq, with those of Bill Burkett, the retired Texas Air National Guard officer who provided CBS' 60 Minutes with unauthenticated documents regarding President Bush's National Guard record. Sheehan is currently staging an anti-war protest outside Bush's ranch in Crawford, Texas. Limbaugh said that Sheehan's "story is nothing more than forged documents."
Sheehan's "story" is, in fact, that her son died while fighting in Iraq. A Humvee mechanic, Spc. Casey Sheehan was one of seven U.S. soldiers killed in Baghdad's Sadr City on April 4, 2004, by rocket-propelled grenades and small arms fire.

LIMBAUGH: I mean, Cindy Sheehan is just Bill Burkett. Her story is nothing more than forged documents. There's nothing about it that's real, including the mainstream media's glomming onto it. It's not real. It's nothing more than an attempt. It's the latest effort made by the coordinated left.
GOI: Hmmm, so I assume that Casey Sheehan's death wasn't real and that the coffin which Ms. Sheehan buried was empty?? Sorry Rush. Her pain and the loss of her son are all too real for those of us in the fact based community.

ugh....and people actually listen to him! I think for many, especially those who listen and still believe the unbelieveable and ever-changing BS that comes out of the WH, creating a new reality is a lot easier to swallow that what's really going on. They just continue to drive SUV's with magnets and believe that war is glorious that everything is la-de-da okay.
paolo: yeah, exactly. In his comments toward cindy he actually called the demostrators as "dopers." That either takes balls or insanity considering his own problems with drug abuse.
jessica: You're right. I think a lot of people listen to him because he tells them what they want to hear.
He's a fat ass, drug addict. There's nothing about him that is real.
To lower myself to that kind of journalism or integrity, it would require several swift blows to the head.
mj: yeah, he has brain rot from all the pain pills. Sorry Rush, no amount of pain pills is going to kill the reality of this movement.
