Here is the link to his website if you want to see his take on the Gonzales story. You have to scroll down about a quarter of the way to find the story where my blog is mentioned. It's titled, "Alberto Gonzales is Bernie Nussbaum as the left-wing critics of Bush become the right-wing critics of Clinton."
Hugh says this of the left's actions in holding the Bush administration's feet to the fire:
Bill Clinton drove a lot of conservatives crazy, and a lot of credibility was lost as a result. The same sort of meltdown is now under way on the left, an amazing overkill that probably has its roots in payback but which has dramatically overestimated the traction of their claims.
"Amazing overkill??" Hugh, buddy. You're delusional. This leak scandal hits at the very heart of national security and that being the integrity of a CIA operatives cover. People have probably died because of this blown cover so I think these types of investigations are critical to our national security. "Payback" Hugh? Come on. Speaking of "payback," that's exactly what Rove had in mind when leaking Plame's name and trying to discredit her husband Joe Wilson. This is quite obvious by now Hugh.
Hugh goes on to say:
but the undeniable difference between the Clinton scandals and the Plame affair is that the Clitnon scandals could be understood by the poublic at large whereas the Plame affair strikes most Americans as silly excess of the left.
Yeah, hey Hugh! This leak scandal involves possible TREASON!! You don't think that Americans can understand that?! You must really think most Americans are idiots. Clue in buddy.
Oh yeah and "silly excess of the left??" That's why the special prosecutor in the case is a Bush appointee, right? Oh yeah and Karl "Leaky" Rove is no liberal and thus, we wouldn't be talking about this story if he hadn't "screwed the pooch" and leaked the name of Plame.
Anyway, I don't know if I should be honored or annoyed that H.H. reads my blog because he classified my writings as "hallucinations." Hey, Hugh. I'm not the one drinking the right-wing, hallucinagenic "kool-aid" and I'm taking my meds -- are you?? Wake up from your hypnotized trance and leave the "Dark Side" my friend. I'll forgive you. I'm a liberal after all.Seriously though Hugh, welcome to my blog. I hope that one day we can find something to agree on. How about this, I'll reach out on a compromise with you in saying that I support keeping the troops in Iraq until the job is done. "We broke it, we fix it" rule. I'm sure that you agree with keeping the troops in Iraq until the job is done as well.
Oh yeah and I do listen to your show now and then. Just you know, the saying, "keep your friends close and your enemies closer." (smirk).
Happy reading.

That's funny. I don't have a clue who this Hugh guy is. I'm really not up on my talking heads trivia.
For Rove doing nothing wrong, the CIA sure took it very serious when it referred Rove's actions to the Department of Justice, in which you write about the 12 hour gap before the DoJ alerts the White House.
Tell Hugh I said hi.
MJ:
Yeah how funny is that?? I'll tell him "hi" for ya. At least i'm getting under their skin.

OK moonbat, it's over
Keep hittin' 'em with the chair. Hell, throw the desk at the sumsabitches, too!
You're afflicting the comfortable, and that's always good.
Hugh Hewitt huh. Nice. I actually listen to his show a few times a week for research purposes.
The way I see it, at the very least it is always nice to get under the con's skin every once in a while. Way to go!

Anonymous: Hmm. Moonbat? What the HELL does that even mean??
Isabella: Thanks!! I know I am doing my job when I get under their skin.
Amadeus: Thanks! I am fighting back the tide of the corrupt conjobbers as best I can.
"Moonbat" is a term the certain people on the right use to describe liberals left they believe to be "out of touch" with the mainstream. Ironically enough, it's used most often by people who are strong devotees of the likes of Michelle Malkin and Ann Coulter, not really people one most often associates with level-headedness or temperance.
paolo: Thanks for the head's up. That is ironic that this phrase was coined by the rabidly conservative Ann Coulter.
Another childish epithet I see thrown around places like FreeRepublic and Little Green Footballs is LLL, which, presumably stands for Loony Lefty Liberals (isn't that clever?). Because, of course, one would have to be out of one's mind to support policies that strive for social justice, equal protection, a progressive tax code, strong national defense, a strong economy and good public education.
It's much more sensible to want a greater division between rich and poor, social policies driven by religious fanatics and a military weakened by excessive adventurism around the globe... don't cha think?
paolo: Well said!!
