WASHINGTON -- John Bolton, President Bush's nominee for U.N. ambassador, neglected to tell Congress he been interviewed in a government investigation into faulty prewar intelligence that Iraq was seeking nuclear materials in Africa, the State Department said.
Bolton was interviewed by the State Department inspector general in 2003 as part of a joint investigation with the CIA into prewar Iraqi attempts to buy nuclear materials from Niger, State Department spokesman Noel Clay said Thursday.
GOI Comment: God, so who isn't tied to the CIA leak investigation? I know that I'm not linked but that's as far as I'll go at this point. It seems like the entire Bush government is linked to this scandal somehow, someway. It's like one giant, rotten web of lies. I suppose Bolton just "can't recall." Seems to be a lot of that going around these days. Have they been smoking too much grass??
Short term memory loss??? Maybe so. We already know that Bush fried his brain with all that blow he snorted in the 70's...Hmm.
Either that or they are as guilty as sin.
Yep, I think that's the ticket.
