Joe Blow isn't fit to be our senator because....he's an alcoholic! You've seen all the negative attack ad's on the television screen lately i'm sure. Especially if you live in a battle ground state like Colorado. They run here sometimes back-to-back through out the entire news cycle. They are so silly and absurd. I am just waiting for one to say something totally obsurd like:

"Joe Blow is a mass murderer!" How many people do these ad's actually affect. I mean, for one, how many people actually believe much of anything that these ad's are slinging! They sling these outrageous accusations around, "Joe Blow is married to his sister and is having an affair with his brother"...you know the drill by now. It begins to sound like an episode of Jerry Springer for god's sake! Then there's the god aweful music that they play during these ad's. Its like Halloween, haunted house music or like the sound of a loud heart beating faster and faster.

It makes you want to run to the medicine cabinet and down a near-fatal dosage of tranquilizers just to make the sound stop. As you try to peel yourself off the ceiling due to the anxiety created by these damn ad's. Its like they want to scare you into thinking that this certain politician is going to kill and dismember you. "Joe Blow is going to KILL YOU!!!" Then at the end of the spot the "good guy" comes on and the music changes to this "Bambi" type, soft, respectful Yani music as we see the candidate doing some thing important. Usually talking on the phone, kissing babies or pushing papers around on a desk draped in the American flag.

The ones I hate the worst from the Republican's are when they constantly say "John Kerry and the Liberals in Congress..." As if being a Liberal is illegal or something. They say liberal like they want to say crack-addict, serial rapist instead. I am proud to be a liberal damn it!

Anyway, I'll be glad when this election is finally over.
