I had a hard time waking up this morning. Which hasn't been a problem lately since I've been taking my super-drug Trileptal. Now i'm dragging around the house with my eye-lids half shut and I feel like I need a nap and its only noon. I think a lot of this has to do with the fact that I am going to be 29 soon and I spent last night drinking like a fish.
Yeah. Let's see If I can get any of last night to come back to me. I started drinking beer around 2pm for the Broncos game (they are kickin' ass this year-knock on wood) and then went over to a friends house to help him with a music project that he is working on. He creates techno/trance/dance music and he wanted me to say some stuff in French to lay over the beats. Anyway, I kept on drinking while I was over at his house and it doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that I was getting WAYYY-sted. We also downed two shots of Tuaca liquor before the night was over. Soooo...basically I drank from 2pm to 11pm. The haze is beginning to clear a bit now and I am sure all that boozin' is the reason I am dragging my ass around today in a little red wagon. Hold on a second...I have to stretch.
O.k., thats much better. God sometimes when I stretch I feel like I am going to rip apart at the seams. Like I stretch too hard or something and I am going to pull dozens of different muscles at the same time. Hmmm.....Well, anyway, I'm sure you're wondering what this post has to do with cake, aren't you? Well, I have been listening to the band Cake again lately (I go through phases with my music). Cake are one of the greatest bands on the scene right now. They've been on the scene though for about 10 years I think. So, we just bought their new album, Pressure Chief and I can not get it out of my head!! I've been playing it over and over and over. They have such a unique sound and I love the lyrics. The lead singer seems like such a funny guy from his lyrics. Anyway, if you haven't heard this band before then I recommend you check them out on Amazon.com and listen to some samples. If you like unique music then I'm sure you'll dig Cake.

Yeah, a lot of the music I listen too gets the "wtf" look from people. Haha.
