The Political Compass

I found this website and thought that I would mention it here: http://www.politicalcompass.org/ You take a short test and then they give you your results as to where you fit on the political scale. The scale they use, however, is in the form of a cross, rather then the traditional "left, right" horizontal scale. This cross scale has "Authoritarian" at the top and "Libertarian" at the bottom. As well as the traditional "left, right" horizontal scale. The "left, right" scale being the economic scale and the "Authoritarian, Libertarian" scale being the social indicator. In case you were wondering, I am about as far left on the economic scale as possible in whats called the "libertarian left" quadrant. The quadrant which is labeled "voluntary regional collectivism" rather then the "state-imposed regional collectivism" quadrant of the left. Apparently I'm in the same quadrant as Gandhi. I guess I lean fairly strongly toward a socialist society but that part I already had figured out lol. Anyway, it's an interesting test to take. Check it out.

I have to say, that was terribly interesting. Had fun doing it for sure. I think that is a much more accurate system of accounting for onces beliefs, for, no one is simply political or simply moral. The two are closely connected and affect each other greatly. Great find James.

This test is interesting but I think everybody knows his/her political preferences. Clenbuterol
